FIDE WORLD AMATEUR CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS
FIDE and the Oman Chess Committee invite all FIDE Member Federations and eligible players to participate in the FIDE World Amateur Chess Championships for Open and Women with a FIDE rating under 2300. In total, 6 (six) championship titles in 3 categories will be awarded: Open & Women Under 1700, Open & Women Under 2000, Open & Women Under 2300. The championships will be held in Muscat (Gulf of Oman). The dates are 01 of November (arrivals) to 11 of November 2023 (departures).
Registration Fees
The deadline for the registration is 1st September 2023
Registration fee: 90 euros for each player and each accompanying official/person. The registration fee is compulsory and represents a confirmation of participation. The Registration fee includes accreditation, identification, badges, organization costs, and transportation from and to Muscat International airport (Transportation from and to Muscat airport on 01st and 11th November).
FIDE FEE: 30 euros for each player shall be paid by FIDE member federations directly to the Organizer bank account.
Registration procedure
All players, accompanying persons and delegation members have to register (without any objection from their national federation) before the deadline of 1st September 2023, together with a 50% deposit payment of the registration-accommodation package described in article (9) above. After the deadline, a late registration fee of 50 euros per participant can be required.
