FIDE and the Oman Chess Committee invite all FIDE Member Federations and eligible players to participate in the FIDE World Amateur Chess Championships for Open and Women with a FIDE rating under 2300. In total, 6 (six) championship titles in 3 categories will be awarded: Open & Women Under 1700, Open & Women Under 2000, Open & Women Under 2300. The championships will be held in Muscat (Gulf of Oman). The dates are 01 of November (arrivals) to 11 of November 2023 (departures).
